1. Tap your subject on the screen to lock focus, then slide your finger down to lower the exposure of touch. This one move saves washed out skies and bright windows. 2. Turn on the grid in your camera settings and place your subject where the lines cross, not dead center. Off center shots simply look more professional. 3. Shoot in soft light. The hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset are gentle and flattering. Harsh noon sun creates hard shadows that even a great phone can't fix.
