The reservations bring the total spending in each state to $60 million in Ohio, $30.5 million in Iowa, $42.5 million in North Carolina, and $11 million in Alaska. According to Senate Majority PAC spokesperson Lauren French, the new resources show the battleground map has shifted toward Democrats.
The Senate Leadership Fund, aligned with Republicans and Majority Leader John Thune, remains significantly better capitalized, with $238 million in cash on hand as of the end of June, compared to $126 million for Senate Majority PAC.
