Janez Janša Forms Coalition Government in Slovenia

Janez Janša formed a coalition government in Slovenia after his party performed strongly enough in the recent election to secure the necessary support.

Janša, 66, is a veteran politician who has led Slovenia at various points over the past two decades. His return comes as several European nations weigh similar debates over migration and economic policy.

The new government is expected to take office in the coming weeks once formal approvals are complete. It will face immediate tests on the budget and relations with the European Union.
