Trump to Meet Netanyahu at White House on Tuesday

President Trump will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Tuesday, according to the Israeli Prime Minister's office. This will be their seventh meeting in the Oval Office since Trump returned to office a year and a half ago.

Netanyahu's visit to Washington comes as Trump considers resuming major combat operations in Iran, which could involve a joint military campaign with Israel. A meeting with Netanyahu could be significant for Trump's decision-making and for coordination between the countries. The Israeli Prime Minister's office said in a statement that Netanyahu will depart for Washington on Monday for an official visit, during which he will meet with Trump at the White House on Tuesday and attend the funeral service for Senator Lindsey Graham.

The meeting was arranged after Netanyahu requested to meet with Trump last week, but was initially unable to secure an appointment. Some White House officials said Netanyahu tried to push for the meeting, and it was only confirmed after Trump agreed to meet with him if he was in town for Graham's funeral ceremony.
